Version 1.1.0: I uploaded the wrong build, plus I added a one-line feature!

There was a problem near the end of the game, where it said an item was in a certain place, but it wasn't. Sorry about this, and thanks to the people who call this to my attention and to the people who wind up playing. They got 90% of the way through then got stuck. I appreciate the kind things people had to say about my game despite this huge hole. I guess this is just another risk of putting things off. I tend to have troubles with the final build on itch, and I really don't know a solution.

What happened was, I sent up a test build instead of the actual build. This is because I forgot to run a build script that copies over the name of the file, which is BigDeal202605010023.html, to index.html and downloadable.html. This wouldn't usually be a problem but I moved an item from one room to another to balance puzzles -- and somehow I overwrote a code change I made to do so. (Adventuron has a web interface but no local text editor. Sometimes I need to do stuff in the editor. But I've let this happen several times in development.) A tester caught this and it got fixed, and I compiled -- and I forgot to copy the compiled version over to the final index.html/download.html!

You won't have to play through the game to see the final bit. You can type TESTJUMP PERCH and then go north, and things should be in the right place.

It turns out that the kelp was actually in the game, but it is to the east of the center inside of the west. I moved it there to balance puzzles. I originally had it in the layer, because there was water by there, but I also figured that having the kelp in the region would allowed for some development of NPCs, and if it were in the lair, everyone would be gone.

It's going to be tough to highlight exactly what else was fixed, but I think the TALK verb is now in there, for some NPCs, and it gives a slightly different response. Many items and people give a reaction now.

But I think I was able to make lemonade out of lemons in another way. I found a one-line fix to something that had been bothering me. I just realized you can indeed anchor the header and graphic and description to the top, so it doesn't cycle off if you type in a lot of text. My testers asked me regularly about this, but I always assumed I couldn't do it.

But I guess something broke in me and I decided to reread Adventuron's documentation on themes (I'd changed the color before,) and it worked, as the documentation was clear.

I feel a bit silly now I didn't follow up on what the testers said or at least give one more look. I tend to say "Oh aesthetic things are beyond me." But these were not detailed aesthetic things.

One very nice side effect of this is, I can go back and fix my other games so they're a bit more user friendly.
